Dr. Douglass has been a licensed chiropractic physician since 1991 and brings more than three decades of experience helping patients improve their health and quality of life. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Springfield College in Springfield, MA, with concentrations in nutrition and chemistry, and went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, graduating with honors in research. He has also completed postgraduate studies through Harvard Medical School. Prior to opening his practice in Destin, FL, Dr. Douglass practiced in both New Hampshire and Georgia in private practice and a multidisciplinary clinic working alongside a variety of medical and holistic practitioners.
Dr. Douglass was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic after experiencing firsthand the benefits of chiropractic care when a chiropractor helped him recover from a back injury he sustained while working construction at his family’s rock quarry. That experience helped shape his belief in a holistic approach to healthcare and the body’s natural ability to heal when properly supported. Today, he is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and improve overall well-being, while collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the community to ensure the highest standard of care for his patients.
