Dr. Douglass has been a licensed chiropractic physician since 1991 and brings more than three decades of experience helping patients improve their health and quality of life. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Springfield College in Springfield, MA, with concentrations in nutrition and chemistry, and went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, graduating with honors in research. He has also completed postgraduate studies through Harvard Medical School. Prior to opening his practice in Destin, FL, Dr. Douglass practiced in both New Hampshire and Georgia in private practice and a multidisciplinary clinic working alongside a variety of medical and holistic practitioners.
Dr. Douglass was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic after experiencing firsthand the benefits of chiropractic care when a chiropractor helped him recover from a back injury he sustained while working construction at his family’s rock quarry. That experience helped shape his belief in a holistic approach to healthcare and the body’s natural ability to heal when properly supported. Today, he is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and improve overall well-being, while collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the community to ensure the highest standard of care for his patients.

Dr. Douglass and his staff are AMAZING! He truly cares about your well being and is not just a crack-ya-like-a-glow-stick and leave ya. He is so knowledgeable and walks you through exactly what he is doing and how you are feeling. The front office gals are just as lovely as can be. I leave, although maybe going through pain, much relieved, happier, and knowing im in good hands. The best part, he mentioned our bodies are an amazing creation, by an even more amazing Creator... While on vacation in Destin Fl, I went to Dr Douglass with a sciatica nerve issue in my lower back and left leg. Dr Douglass was very attentive to my pain and administered several treatments to help relieve my discomfort. Dr Douglass is a very friendly and knowledgeable chiropractor and I highly recommend him. I will definitely return to him if I’m in need of adjustments while in Destin.

He taught me some easy steps to relieve pressure, like breathing techniques and stretching. He was a very kind man, both professional and personal!
